Used Materials

Giampiero Pizzadili creates his knives with various kind of materials: he has a lot of alternatives.
For the blade he uses different kinds of steel and each of them have its characteristics; very appreciable is the damask composed by hundreds sheets of steel: all these sheets usually form a draw.
About the haft, Giampiero uses the mouflon and ram's horn, but also natural and synthetc woods and pearl's mother.
Finishes are made with brass, alpaca (german silver), gold and silver; sometimes also pearl's mother is used for finishes.
